What We've Accomplished
On November 29, 2022, SRMOA residents met at City Hall, asking Council members to reduce the RCO (rent control ordinance) of 100% of CPI and the 6% cap
In December 2022, Council member Natalie Rogers made a motion for 70% of CPI with a 4% cap, and 10% in-place transfer fee. It passed and went into effect on January 6, 2023.
On June 20, 2023, SRMOA residents met at City Hall, requesting Mayor and Council members to correct the disparity in the five parks left out of the 2023 rent control ordinance.
On July 11, 2023, the Santa Rosa Housing and Community Development Department presented a solution to the City Council for the five parks left out of the 2023 rent control revision. It was voted on, and unanimously accepted.
